Nokia and Yahoo have worked together since April 2005 and bringing the Yahoo! Go for Mobile suite to S60-based smartphones, Nokia and Yahoo! have announced that a range of Yahoo! services will be made available on a select range of Nokia’s Series 40 non-smartphones.
Initially, Yahoo! Messenger and Yahoo! Mail will feature in Nokia’s 5300 and 5200 youth orientated handsets, as well as the new 6300 slim handset announced yesterday. In future, Nokia will expand the offering to more handsets, as well as begin to include a service called Yahoo! Personal Information Management, where the user’s device will be synchronized with their Yahoo! contacts, task list, and calendar.
