Gaming on 1080p vs 1200p Monitor

I recently bought¬†Dell UltraSharp 24-Inch IPS Monitor¬†with a screen resolution of 1920×1200. Most 24 inch monitors have a resolution of 1920×1080, so you get to see more pixels and content on a higher resolution 1200p monitor.

It is great for productivity, but do get to see extra pixels and a higher field of view on a 1200p monitor? I took these screenshots from Battlefield 4 to test it out.

Even though 1200p monitor has higher resolution and pixel count, but 1080p monitor has a wider field of view compared to 1200p monitor.
