12 Blogging Applications for iPhone

WordPress has their own application for iPhone and iPod touch users for mobile management of blogs built upon its platform. It is simple and easy to use, pretty generic but usable and I am sure this is a must have if you have a wordpress based blog.

Typepad - Six Apart has announced a TypePad application which is optimized for iPhone and iPod Touch. Which is available as as a free download through the Apple Store, and this blogging application will enable users to create and publish blog entries from their iPhone.

Twitterific, available for free and ad-supported and there is a paid premium version available as well.

Twittelator You may check which is cool too and also check Twinkle.

Pownce Just Another twitter like site, where you can do the same, send messages and links, files, and events.. They have iPhone application as well.

Bluepulse is also getting popular, free mobile social messenger. Just like Twitter, Bluepulse is a way to message and update your friends with what you’re doing, wherever you are. The amazing thing about this application is that it supports integration with the iPhone address book and also has the ability to get direct camera and photo access, you can click a photo and upload it directly to your Bluepulse account. This is extremely useful as currently iPhone’s Safari web browser doesn’t support file uploads.

LifeCast is a easy to use blogging application for the iPhone and iPod Touch, this one currently supports Blogger (text) and Tumblr (text & images).

This is available for most mobile phones, it truely complete any camera phone. Kyte Another cool mobile photo blogging application. Kyte provides an easy-to-use, turnkey solution for mobile and webcam video blogging. Like carrying a pocket-sized production studio, publishers can broadcast live or recorded video while on the go to their blog or website.

Clowdy Photo Blogger Another Photo blogging application for your iphone, it even lets you see pictures taken in your proximity. A number of downloads currently available in the App Store do this as well, but Clowdy is free and lite application, perfectly suitable for your mobile blogging.

Graffitio This operates with the same location-based concept as Clowdy, but it’s text-based. The best way to explain it is to offer an example. It lets you attach conversations to the places you go and the things you see! As soon as you open Graffitio, it looks around you for Walls created by other users at restaurants, bars, stores and events.
