Samsung Reveals Basic SGH-t329

samsung-t329.jpgSamsung has launched the new SGH-t329 budget handset today at CES in Las Vegas, and we managed to get some time with the device to take some photos. The Samsung SGH-t329 was running T-Mobile branded firmware, indicating that it will be released on that carrier, though Samsung concealed any physical branding on the device with a sticker.

While the Samsung SGH-t329 does not have the amazing specification sheet seen with some of the devices that were on show at CES, it does sport a cool design and everything that a basic handset needs.

The SGH-t329 is a variant of Samsung’s SGH-e570, but includes a VGA resolution camera instead of the latter’s 1.3 megapixel unit. A 1.77″ 65k color 128×160 pixel resolution TFT LCD internal screen and a black and white 1.32″ 128×32 pixel resolution external screen adorn the device, while speakerphone functionality and Bluetooth round out the feature set.

We are told by Samsung to expect a launch of the SGH-t329 in late February or early March this year.
