The 12-megapixel camera phone presented at the Mobile World Congress back in February as the Sony Ericsson Idou will actually hit the market as the Sony Ericsson Satio. This is obviously a camera-focused mobile phone and with that, it will come complete with the latest imaging technology.
This includes autofocus, touch focus, xenon flash, LED flash for videos, face and smile detection, geotagging, and more. High-quality photos taken from the whopping 12MP camera could be viewed clearly on the large 3.5-inch TFT touch screen display with 360 x 640 pixels and 16million colors.
This will be running on Symbian S60 5th Edition and it will have support for quad-band GSM, 3G HSDPA, Wi-Fi with DLNA, AGPS, and stereo Bluetooth. Other features include Gesture Control, TV Out, FM Radio with RDS, and a microSD card support with 8GB included in the box.
The Sony Ericsson Satio will be available in Black, Silver and Bordeaux colors, and it will start hitting the market around the fourth quarter of this year.
