Samsung knows what it is pitted against when it comes to mobile phones. Samsung has ambitious plans to make further penetration in the mobile phone segment dominated by the likes of Motorola, Nokia and Sony Ericsson. Samsung is also the official sponsor at Olympic 2008 and thus it is probably the best time for it to leave some mark. Samsung i8510 INNOV8
Samsung i8510 (INNOV8) is a 8 megapixel cameraphone which will take on the competition from camera phone manufacturers as well as other mobile phone makers. The phone has everything that a mid range digital camera has. Other features include a built in handsfree , Built-in GPS receiver,FM Radio and TV out functionality. Connectivity has been taken care of with Bluetooth v2.0 A2DP, GPRS 32-48 Kbps ,WiFi and HSDPA.

Samsung i740
The Samsung i740 is a touch screen phone with Tri-band GSM 900/1800/1900 connectivity and 2.8 inches TFT display with QVGA resolution. It comes with 3.15 megapixel camera with autofocus, flash, Mp3 player with stereo speaker. Other features are Bluetooth v2.0 with A2DP, USB v2.0, Built-in GPS receiver, Java MIDP 2.0, Built-in handsfree and internet connectivity. The internal memory is 256 MB ROM , 64 MB RAM and it all runs on a 624 MHz processor.

Samsung J800 Luxe
Samsung J800 Luxe is a mid-end slider phone and it is very generous on Samsung’s part to call it Luxe because it doesn’t have anything that luxurious to flaunt really. We have only routine features in this one like 2.2 inches TFT display with LCD resolution, tri-band GSM connectivity plus HSDPA, Bluetooth v2.0 with A2DP, USB v2.0, Google search integration, full HTML browser, RSS reader, document viewer, microSD slot and Java MIDP 2.0.

Samsung M150 is a slim candybar budget phone featuring a 1.77 inches TFT display, 640×480 pixels VGA Camera, Mp3 player, FM Radio and recording. The connectivity option has also been given with Bluetooth v2.0 and USB v2.0. Pretty basic phone with decent looks.

Samsung L870 is a shining slider which comes with a 3.15 MP camera and it runs on latest Symbian 9.3 version.
