Now you can access blocked sites from your office with your remote desktop. The remote desktop software available at LogMeIn.com allows you to set up a remote desktop, which is usually your personal computer at home. Once you set up the remote desktop by installing the Free Software from the above mentioned website, you can access the blocked websites by running the website through your remote desktop web browser. You just need to make sure that the remote pc has been kep On at the time you want access.

Few of the many advantages of using this Free remote desktop tool is that it does not use your personal internet bandwidth for connection. Secondly, you won’t need to care about proxies that are required elsewhere when you try to access the blocked stuff with proxy tools.

Sounds like a cool idea. I use remote access as well, but for me it’s an easy way to support my customers without having to go on-site to tend to their minor computer issues. I use a service called Techinline (www.techinline.com), so perhaps it can do pretty much the same thing because it gets across all proxies and firewalls and nobody needs to install anything.
