Alltel Wireless and LG have announced the LG AX840 Tritan, a 3G-connected touchscreen device with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard and a 3 megapixel camera. The affordable phone’s large 3-inch touchscreen should vividly display applications like the integrated web browser.
The Tritan features a GPS chipset and many of Alltel’s signature applications, including E-mail, Navigation, NuTsie and more. The phone is also Bluetooth capable for hands-free headsets. There’s also a weird-positioned d-pad that looks to be perfect for left-handers, but not for right-handers.
Its full specs include:
- EV-DO Rev A connectivity
- GPS (Alltel Navigation)
- Full Internet browser
- Voice recognition
- 3MP camera with video recording
- MicroSD card support
- 4.5 x 2.2 x 0.6 inches
- 5.0 ounces
The LG AX840 Tritan is available now for $79.99 after a two-year customer agreement and mail-in rebate.
