The Asus P835 has just been officially introduced by Taiwanese company after presenting handsets in partnership with Garmin. The Asus P835 is a newest Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional smartphone that will be powered by Qualcomm 7021A 528MHz with 288MB SDRAM, 256MB ROM and 4GB of internal storage. It  will also support quad-band GSM and tri-band UMTS connectivity with A-GPS and Opera Mobile with navigation through a trackball. This could as well be used as a Wi-Fi access point for up to 10 devices, so there’s no need for a Wi-Fi hub.

The P835 features ASUS Glide, an interactive front-end for the Windows Mobile operating system. The newest iteration of Glide has been given a facelift that improves the aesthetic appeal and functionality of the interface. Glide will look sharp and run fast on the device’s 3.5-inch WVGA (800 x 480 pixels) touchscreen and 528MHz Qualcomm processor.

There will also be a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus, music and video playback of various formats, on-screen QWERTY keyboard and Bluetooth. Business applications include PIM Word and Excel editor, PowerPoint viewer, Adobe Reader, Windows Live, MSN, Voice Commander and Push Email.

There’s no official announcement yet regarding its pricing and release date, but this will definitely await a lot of business users.
