Audio Comments on YouTube

Published in Google by Ankur

Google has introduced the feature of Audio comments on Youtube. The new Audio Comments feature finally lets you post an audio preview of your favorite videos on Youtube. Actually, you can’t record your own comments over there. This service will actually convert your text comment into Computer Generated speech. Till now the commenting service in Youtube has been quite dead due to the limited number of choices that were available to Youtube members wanting to post their comments.

The Audio Comments feature on Youtube uses the Text-To-Speech project of Google & is currently restricted to the first 150 characters of the text comment. This is a great feature for people who use speech narration softwares for web. There is also a chance that Google might be working on its In-house Text-To-Speech project to provide screen reader functionality forits tools like Google Reader & Blogger.
