BlackBerry App World on web now

Published in Blackberry by sushaantu

BlackBerry has finally introduced its Application Store or as they are calling it “BlackBerry App World” on web. The application which was earlier only accessible through the BlackBerry handsets is now available on web to be browsed from any computer. The web interface of the BlackBerry App World is pleasantly better and its interface is cool.

Each application has its own profile page along with the comments from the users. The share button at the right side allows you to share the app with friends on various social networking sites. The download link with each application on the AppWorld will take you to the page where you may enter your email address to have the application download link sent to your BlackBerry smartphone.

There is however no synchronization which allows you to like or pick some apps of your interest on the web so that they may appear in your BlackBerry. Some users might find the download link sent to your phone a little time less-integrated. Anyway, it’s still a welcome sign and a step that could have been done by the Apple by not sticking the iPhone Apps with iTunes.
