BlackBerry’s Gemini 9300 is an upcoming smartphone in a style similar to the Blackberry Curve 8900 Javelin but with an updated 3G capabilities and support for both Quad-band, GSM/GPRS/EDGE networks, giving the Gemini more versatility.

According to the source, the Gemini will also have a larger screen with a higher resolution, a more rounded key and keyboard design and a silver coloring. The keyboard of the new 3G Curve will be a little more rounded than that sported by the, while the Send or End keys are also rounded and not flat on the sides. Overall, the styling of the device is similar to that featured by the 8900 Storm line.
If the previous models are any indication, you will also get a GPS units and Wi-Fi capabilities and a camera with a 3.2-megapixel resolution or better.
Accurate specification have not been released yet, so there is no word on when the 9300 will be made available or what price tag it may have, though guesses put the release date at 4Q 2009 or early 2010.
