Clean Up Windows Vista Backups and Restore Points.

Published in Windows Vista by Aditi Tuteja

Windows Vista has many great new features for making backups. Window Vista even saves the previous versions of your documents and the system state points which are part of system restore. These features are genius, useful too but these take up a lot of hard drive space.

Clean up your backups and restore points.

  • Go to start.
  • Type in disk cleanup. Press Enter.
  • Select Files from all users on this computer.

  • Select the drive you want to clean. Press Enter
  • Now go to the More Options tab.
  • Click on Clean up in the field System Restore and Shadow Copies.
  • Press Delete.
