ASUS Eee PC 1000 has more than a larger display to its attraction, when it gets showcased tomorrow. One of their model is likely to support up to 2GB memory, the model name is EEE PC 1000H, this will also hold 80GB hard drive in Windows XP form, this has led to removing the flash used in smaller models and providing four times the space of the 8.9-inch model’s 20GB of flash storage.

With the provision for 802.11n Wi-Fi and a relatively long 3.2 to 5 hours of battery life the new versions are improved substantially.

Eee PC 1000 also has a 1.3-megapixel camera, Intel Atom processor, and a card reader. These will be available with Linux.
