2000 to XP

I have an application that prints fine on a windows 2000 machine but when the
application is run on a XP machine, the print job spools the entire job and
does not print everything. I am using the same "shared" printer. Is there a
setting that can be changed on the XP Pro machine to have it handle the job
in the same manner as the 2000 machine?
