3M MT7 touch screen not functioning after launching explorer.exe

launching explorer.exe from my custom shell. I have a custom shell
component and is working perfectly with the touch screen. This custom
shell component is able to launch explorer.exe whenever I click a
button on this application. At sometime (appear pretty randomly)
after starting the explorer.exe and move around in explorer, the touch
screen will not have any response. Since my system is not connected
to any keyboard/mouse, user has to manually turn off the power supply
in order to shut down the system and the restart it. This behaviour
appears randomly. Sometime it may not even happening at all. Anyone
has any idea about this problem?
