5536 losing wi-fi requiring a restart to get wi-fi back

As stated in the subject line... got 5536 installed on a Dell Latitude D620
and it loses wi-fi and the only way to get it back is to restart the PC.

more information on the specifics on the dell would be useful as would be
more details on the home network .. are you on an A, B or G network?
