| I downloaded the file, attempted to do a fresh install, was prompted for a product key and my CPP key wouldn't work so I attempted to run it without a key and it failed copying files with an error of missing files. I re-installed my CPP copy and did an upgrade and all works very well. I have read since then that this pre-RC1 was only for Tech-Net subscribers. I'm not a subscriber so should I post errors I find? Am I not supposed to have this? -- Sam | Guest

wrong? It does happen. I had an oddity, when I first installed it accepted the key but when I went to activate it said key already used. I entered the key again and it activated fine. | Guest

| As a matter of fact it was made available on a public web address. The only thing is is that one needs a product key to install it. This de facto limits it to those who have a set as per, say, the beta 2 program. downloading it and wasting the 100,000 slots was to ask for the email address of the previous registered version then take you to a download link. Badly thought out and they have probably lost alot of previous testers out of it and gained people who cannot even test it. | Guest

| It did try to install without a key saying it would be for a limited time but then crashed after 20 minutes missing a file. I did the upgrade and all is well. -- Sam "Beck" wrote: Quote:

Go to start, type system and select system from the list. At the bottom of the window should be activate windows. If you don't do it, it will attempt to activate in a couple of days. | Guest
