| Hello, My command prompt runs as admin OK when i right-click it and click Run As Administrator. Is that what you are talking about? -- - JB Windows Vista Support Faq http://www.jimmah.com/vista/ | Guest

| The RunAs administrator will not elevate the command. You have to elevate the entire Command prompt to get it to run in the context of administrator. mouse simply to run a single command every time you want to do anything admin related (the alternative being to run the cmd.exe elevated which defeats the point of UAC). I expected a start /administrator command or something like that. Tony | Guest
