64 & 32 Vista Operating

Posted: 07-31-2007, 07:20 AM
Hello All,
I've got the 32bit Korean Home Premium & the language is driving me nuts!
So, I purchased the 64 bit English Ultimate Version. I have partitioned my
drive. Before I get going...I want to alleviate my concerns...Can I just
install the 64bit, uninstall the 32 bit...& fingers crossed hope it'll be ok?
Is there anything that I should be worried about??
Thank you all..

Why the extra steps? When installing the 64-bit version, why don't you
delete the 32-bit partition and recreate and partition and install there?
Are you sure you want to go to the 64-bit version? Make SURE you have all
the 64-bit drivers for your hardware and your software is compatible.

John is absolutely right - make sure you have all the 64-bit drivers and back
up all the important files files. You may not be able to get to them
afterwards.

And yes, I know it sounds patronising....

Good luck
