64 programs

Ok maybe a silly questio

when I install programs on the C drive Windows installs them either i
the Programs Files (86) for the 32 bit and Programs Files for the 64 bi

BUT When I install programs on for instance the F drive must I do th
same, two folders or doesn't it matter, and use just one folde
regardless whether its 32 or 64bi

If the installer will let you choose a location, you may use any folder on
any drive you choose. Make sure you have rights to that folder.

There's some relevance to the location the apps go, but it's not super
critical. You're not under any special obligation to use those
directories.

It has no impact on the program where you install it.

Except for a select few programs, the location of the program onc
installed is irrelevant. There are a handful that require installatio
in the 'Program Files' or 'Program Files (x86)' folder, but thos
usually do not give you a choice of which directory to install to. A
far as installing to another drive/partition goes, you can install th
vast majority in whatever folder you desire
