Able to write to CD dat but unable to read the CD's in XP.

Since installing XP I am able to write data CD's using my
CD-RW, but unable to read the newly created data CD's.
I have written CD's using XP drag/drop & Nero software.
No matter, I still can not read the files using XP Windows
explorer.
I can read the disks using DOS & the data/files are fine.
Music CD's play fine.
Software CD's read fine.
Data CD's written & read using Windows 98 can not be read
in XP.
I have re-installed the drivers.
Autorun gets hungup...so I fully disable this function.
