I just saw that a new AC97 Realtek Vista BETA driver has been released.

Download the driver here:

I just downloaded the file didn't work on my computer, got the message not
right driver get one from realtek.

EP-9gf6100m/amd64/2 4800
pny gf7900gtx/512mb
realtek ac97

I, too am having trouble with this driver. I get the message "only
98/me/xp/2003 are supported in this package."

Did you try to install it in compatibility mode?

Same here. I think Realtek has some work to do, as it isn't recognizing the
operating system it is designed for.
