I have tried from the dos prompt using rd and rmdir /S and it doesn't work. I am the owner and administrator of the folders which I'm trying to access. When this happened to me on a USB drive I had to go to the root and take ownership of everything before setting the permissions and replacing the existing permissions, again from root. I could read and write to the directory and like you I had full control over the it but I couldn't delete the it. Once the permissions had been changed I could delete it. | Guest
