Access Denied when opening folders.

Hello. I'm fairly good with computers, but I need a bit of help. The other
day I was deleting files to save some space on my hard drive (C. I did
something, I think it had to do with compressing files, and ever since most
of my documents are all in this one folder called "My Old Disk Structure". I
can get into some of my files there, but most when I click on them they say
"C:/My old Disk Structure -- So on/ is not accessible. Access is denied." If
you know anything about this PLEASE tell me. I would very much appreciate it.
