I have an HP C6180 connected to my network via its builtin wireless NIC. All
functions of the unit work fine except for one. The Digital Imaging Monitor
maps Z:\ to the memory card reader built into the unit. If I insert a
Compact Flash, SD Card, or USB flash into the reader and try to access Z:\
through Windows Explorer I receive an error dialog pops up titled "Location
is not available" with a message body of "Z:\ is not accessible. The handle
is invalid." However, if I open a command prompt and enter "dir z:\" it
reads the card fine and lists the contents.
Any ideas why the cmd shell can access this device while explorer cannot?
