| We have a linux based OC3 server system that we need to access via a persistent route. So we add the route via a bat file, which I know works, and then at that point we can ping the server and get responses as well as being able to type in the IP address in a web browser and up comes the server page. Works great in XP. In Vista I can not ping the server. Well, when I do ping it, the results come back Destination Host Unreachable and it says 0 packets lost. When I try to go to the web browser interface it times out. I can ping the BBI Agent Router/Firewall and even get to its web browser interface. Again, I have exhaustedly gone through as much configuration settings and tweaking and still no luck. Would be nice to know that Vista's networking could work with legacy devices and peripherals and that we don't have to completely overhaul an entire network just to get it running! I'm running the Ultimate RTM by the way! Thanks | Guest
