Accidentally changed user folder to drive. Help?

Posted: 11-22-2008, 08:30 PM

Hello everybody! (names for things might be different in English. Sorr
if I confuse

I just got Vista Ultimate x64 on my system, and I've been changing th
placement of the user folders to my secondary drive, because I want t
keep the main drive as a system and application drive, and not
media/document drive

This worked nicely (I even followed a tutorial here to change th
icons!) until i accidentally changed the directory of the document
folder to E:\ (the secondary drive) and not E:\documents as i should
Now the entire E-drive is listed in the user folders, and I can no
change it (that would mean changing the directory of the drive, and tha
is nonsensical

All this would have been no problem if I could change which folder
were listed in the user folders folder, but I am unable to delet
entries, and to give new entries the same options as old ones (like
tab for placement in properties)

TL;DR/summary
How do I delete the E:\ drive entry in user folders, and how do I mak
a new one for documents

Thank you in advance

Edit: My DVD-station is D:\ in case you wondered why i called th
tertiary letter the secondary drive

Hello Crowzah

You can use Option Two in this tutorial below to change the Document
(Personal) folder to the correct path in the registry

Hope this helps

Cheers, Brink :
(option two doesnt work. Trying option 3

I really hope this will not delete my E-drive... If it does, I wil
(maybe) hold you (a little) (emotionally) responsible :
