Acrobat reader

Default Acrobat reader

I have downloded the acrobat reader 6 , the frame comes
up saying it is installed but it does not work . I have
to restart the computer each time. the Adobe manager is
installed. any suggestions, I need it for my course .

What is the "Adobe Manager"? What are the exact error messages or
symptoms of "not working"? What happens when you double click on the
icon that was installed in the Start/Programs menu? Have you checked
the support pages at Adobe?
