Add/Remove Programs missing from Control Panel

Windows XP problem:

Add/Remove Programs missing from Control Panel

It was there when I got the computer, and I've used it before. Now, when I open the
Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs is missing.

The file that performs this operation, APPWIZ.CPL is in the correct location, and works
fine when accessed directly. However, there is no way to access it via the Control Panel,
and I can not add a shortcut to it in the Control Panel.

Any ideas?

Gerard, just add a shortcut to the Desktop. rt click on appwiz.cpl
select Send to Desktop as Shortcut.
