Adding user to Local Group Administrator

Default Adding user to Local Group Administrator

When trying to add a user to the local group
administrators, I do not see the domain name in the
locations field. I only see the local computer name. I
need to do this in order to install software applications
to my local hard drive while logged into the domain.
Please help!!!
