Adding Users group to .mdb file permissions

Posted: 08-01-2007, 06:20 PM
I have a .mdb (Access database) file that I need to Compact & Repair on a
regular basis. Whenever this is performed however, whether by myself (I am
in the Administrators group on the PC) or using a batch file through
Scheduled Tasks, the "Users" group disappears from the permissions. Users of
the Access database (who connect via a Shared Drive) cannot enter the file
until this "Users" group is manually put back into the permissions.

Can this process be automated through scripting using the WMI objects?
