Admin & User Account

OK I managed to get into the Admin account of the domain. But the Admin
account of the machine is disabled. I tried to enable it and it says it does
not meet the password criteria. Where do I go to set the password? I don't
see Administrator in the user list.

Hello Todd. I'm still confused about the "disabled" part. But forget
that. You'll see a link at the end of my post. The link is for you to
call on the Real Built-in Administrator, and you can log on to it and
reset a new password for the user account. READ the tutorial carefully.
BEFORE you do that, just to satify my curiosity, do one thing for me.
Restart your computer, when you come to the logon screen, how many
accounts do you see, and how are they labelled? i.e. Administrator
account password protected, User account password protected, etc. I'm
dying to know.

There are 2...the user and Other user.

Todd. can't wait. Let's try to finish this. I have questions for you,
and you must be more precise in answering than in the past.
1. About "What you see in the logon screen", you said " There are 2...
the user and the Other user." What does the label say on each account?
Word BY Word. Does any one of them say " password protected" ?? This is
most important. I'll ask the 2nd question after your reply.

hi there....pliz if any1 can help me....the whole story....i was in net
relation wit this guy 4 very long...more then a year...so finally i
moved to his country,but after comin here...slowly i found out...hes a
player n has been doin it to many girls im also in touch wit ew of
them,im not lying n he has to be taught a lesson,hes playin around wit
feelings.ive left my country 4 him....please help....if u can get me his
password for msn..i can save many girls lives.....please reply back asap

In Vista, the master Administrator account is disabled by default. If there
is no other user administrative account, it should be automatically enabled
in safe mode. Try booting to safe mode and seeing if you can then log in as
administrator. If you have made any user accounts with administrator rights
this will not work (i.e. safe mode will not enable the built in
administrator). You will then have to resort to password recovery tools.
Note however, a sudden inability to log using a known password often
involves registry damage and is not simply a password issue.

For general info: To enable the built in administrator account in Vista run
the following in a command prompt:
net user administrator /active:yes
(You must of course do this from another administrator account or the master
one in safe mode.)

Just to add to this I was told by the user that when he tried to sign in it
said something about "Trust Relationship" was broken. not sure what that
means. but when his password was reset it said the same thing.
