Good Evening,

Well until you disable UAC (User Access Controls) you will continue to have
issues with Vista and the rather odd adminstration logic that Microsoft
implemented in it. After I disabled it 90% of all of my problems just went
away! Network issues, installation issues, even just normal file processing
even though as you state, there is only 1 account created and it is
designated as Admistrator!

Many boards already have how to disable UAC already described so I will no
repeat it here.

Good luck.

Matt.

Contrary to mmilford's post I recommend that you do not turn off UAC. You
will be giving up most of the increased security in Vista. Here is a link
explaining UAC, how it works, and why it is important.
