| When I click on Local Security Policy shortcut in Administrative tools an error comes up - 'snap in failed to initialize' Name group policy - followed by CLSID and a code. It is not possible to run the Local Security Policy shortcut at all | Guest

| If this is a problem with other mmc consoles also, then check that the system environment variable named Path begins %SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%;%SystemRoot%\Sy stem32\Wbem; or at least that the Wbem directory is in the path as shown at cmd prompt by entering path "cfsbris" <cfsbris@optusnet.com.au> wrote in message news:eNk4VcnQDHA.2224@TK2MSFTNGP12.phx.gbl...
