Default Administrator Desktop and UAC

I have several desktops one for myself, one for administrator (myself), and
one for family members.

I can open all the desktops (no passwords) with no problems. The
administrator desktop (password protected) started having problems a few days
ago, now I cannot open it, once I enter the p/w it goes to a blue screen and
acts like it is running but after a few seconds the screen goes blank and all
you see is the cursor.

The only way I can get to the desktop is cntl + alt + del and log off which
takes me back to the User’s Desktop screen, I open my desktop and use
“Control Panel” and go to “Turn User Account Control On or Off” and deselect
it, Reboot and then I can open the Administrator Desktop.

Any answers on what happen and how to fix it? Thanks.

Default Re: Administrator Desktop and UAC

Hello,

so this error doesn't occur with UAC turned off? If you cannot make it work
correctly without UAC enabled, then try disabling it (although it is not
recommended):

Hope this helps.
