"Administrator"? What version of XP have you got? BTW if you ARE logged in as Administrator, it is a very bad thing to use the Administrator account for daily use. Set up a user account, give it administrator rights, and use that. If your log-in goes belly up, and you are using the Administrator Account only, then you're stuffed. The only way to get into your PC then would be by doing a repair install of XP. -- (I may be wrong...I usually am....)
