| I am the only user on this PC. Why does it "lose" it's Administrator status. I'll leave the PC for a time, and when I come back and try to go onto the internet, I get an error message saying I'm not signed on as Administrator. It's very annoying. -- dnreynolds | Guest

| Can you explain in a little more detail exactly what you are doing to cause this to happen? Vista would not ask you to be an administrator to run a web browser. What are you doing to cause this? In Windows Vista you are not an administrator all the time, and you don't need to be. There is no reason why you should have to be an administrator to get on the Internet. Something is wrong or broken with your computer, or you have some malware installed. --- Your question may already be answered in Windows Vista Security: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/047...otectyourwi-20 "dnreynolds" wrote: Quote:
