Default Adminstrator

I am the owner and only user of my pc. Why is it I can not view files and
folders on this machine and how do I correct this very irrating issue?

Simply configure your Windows Explorer settings so you can see them.

Tools > Folder Options > View.

Hi, Dee. What you are asking is actually a perpetual question for
everyone, at least for common users like you and me. In layman term,
it's a protection to the integrity of the computer. To gain access to
the file/folder you're denied of, Right click the file/folder, click Run
As Administrator, then open the file. Please tell me if it works for
you.
