Many people will get their PCs with Home Basic and look expectantly for all
those neat aero efffects .. and when they're not there .. and they have to
pay for them .. groan.

Sure, leave out the Media Centre .. leave out online games .. leave out this
or that .. the customer will think that maybe it is OK to pay extra for
Media Centre and other items .. but don't make the customers groan; I doubt
groans are all that good for business in the long run.

By the time that the advertising and the marketing kicks in later this year,
Microsoft will make it perfectly obvious which versions have which feature,
especially ones such as Aero Glass and Media Center )
