| I have upgraded from XP Pro to Vista Ultimate and when the upgrade was performed I was logged into XP as the local administrator. After the upgrade the local administrator account is disabled and the one other user that was also an administrator does not have admin rights. I can not do anything that requires administrator rights, can not even enable the administrator account. | Guest

| If there are no other administrator accounts try logging on in safe mode with the "administrator" account. Once you are logged on create another account with administrator privileges. -- Kerry Brown Microsoft MVP - Shell/User http://www.vistahelp.ca "Robin" <Robin@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:EF5F46C9-ACED-4507-803D-07754FD71079@microsoft.com...
