America's Army 2.8.2 and 64-bit Vi$ta

The game would crash whenever you tried to load a map. The problem is
how the way AA interacts with AUDIODG.EXE! Disabling AUDIODG.EXE would
fix the problem, but you would lose sound.

Here is a temporary solution:

1. Go to Services of Administrative Tools, *STOP* the Windows Audio
Service. Keep the Service window running.
2. Start AA 2.8.2 and load a training map (e.g. Rifleman Training)
3. Switch to the Services of Admin. Tools in (1),
this time *START* the Windows Audio service.
4. Switch back to AA, go to Audio Settings, change the
Audio Mode (just make a change). Now you should hear sound
and possibly music.
5. From now on, you could load all maps without problem within AA
and still have sound.
