Animated Desktop

If you go to this site:

There is a link to a program that will allow you to use Animated desktop
(using a screensaver as the desktop background).

It is a pretty nice effect for Vista, and it might work with XP as well,
though I have only tested it in Vista.

Yes its a definite, well according PR screenshots of Windows Update with
Ultimate Extras we posted on ActiveWin. I am sure you mean "Sounds cool!"
instead of "Looks cool!"

Yes, all this program really does is overlay the screensave over your current
tesktop. It isn't true, but it is a great effect.

That's really cool, it does work on XP, but not as well as vista.

It makes my LAPTOP double up as a tea warmer as it now blows out so much hot
air.
