| Has anyone been able to get "any" common antivirus programs to work with beta 2. I am not talking about enterprise versions. Antivirus versions for home computers only. Lets get a list going! CA eTrust = problematical. I had to remove it as it was freezing my system. -- Regards, Richard Urban MVP Windows Shell/User (using Vista 5384) Quote from George Ankner: If you knew half as much as you think you know, You would realize you don't know what you thought you knew. | Guest

| Avast works - I took a custom install and only loaded the "Standard Shield". Basic protection and only inflicts a slight performance penalty. "Richard Urban" <richardurbanREMOVETHIS@hotmail.com> wrote in message news:AA8BC942-03BC-4756-8DC9-D415022606A2@microsoft.com... Quote:

| I am trying Avast 4.7 now. Will post back after a few reboots, as that is what seemed to kill CA eTrust on my system. -- Regards, Richard Urban MVP Windows Shell/User (using Vista 5384) Quote from George Ankner: If you knew half as much as you think you know, You would realize you don't know what you thought you knew. | I should have noted that I was only commenting on Vista - not Longhorn. Thanks for the clarification. "Kevin John Panzke" <kevpan815@nospam.hotmail.com> wrote in message news:%23gesF7PgGHA.1264@TK2MSFTNGP05.phx.gbl... Quote:

| Zack - I just installed SAV 10.02 on beta2 and it does not install - autoprotect is disabled by Vista from running due to instability. You may want to edit your entry on the website.
