it gives me a promt that I have to enter a password in. I don't know th

That's a special account that you cannot use, which is for ASP.NET solutions
when they run on the computer. So, don't use that account for anything and
leave it alone.

I am not using that account. I am using my Standard Account (with was
Admin but changed to Standard after some suggestion). I can not log into
ASP.NET because it does not show up on the log-in screen. I cannot get
past any UAC prompts because it ask for ASP.NET's password which I do
not know. I'm asking how I can solve this by either creating another
admin account and degrading ASP.NET to standard.

You should have never done that. You should have just made a new Standard
user account and used that.

ASPNET machine account is a special reserved account that you as an user
will nerver use as an user to login with or doing anything else in regards
to using that special account. You'll never know what the psw for that
reserved account.

You had better find out what that permission setting for that ASPNET user
account was before you messed with it and set it back to that.

You have kind of toasted yourself here when you changed your user account
that was Admin to Standard, with no other user account that you can use as
Admin to login into the system.

Maybe, someone can help you here, because otherwise, you have yourself in a
real tough situation.

Maybe, you can hack your way back. You can try it or have someone try it for
you.

Ah yes, I know. I should've never messed with this. ASPNET user account
before was a standard user.

I found Jimmah's website. But now it does not load for me. He details
that I can fix this be enabling Vista's back-up admin account. I'm
guessing his servers are down?

Give it a try, but you may hit a point where you may need to be an Admin to
do it. I think you have shot yourself in the foot, I hope not, you may have
to reinstall the O/S or do an upgrade over the top with the existing O/S DVD
to get an Admin account established again.

One other thing, do you see how I am reply posting to you? That is proper
etiquette and not what you're doing, which is basically posting to yourself
and not to the person to whom you are replying to on a reply post.
