Dump it.

To rip CD's why not use CDex - its free. It will also convert wav format to
mp3 format. So will Goldwave, so will AudioGrabber ....... but they're
payware.

Cheers,
Jerry

| Greetings all.
|
| I have just installed XP Home on my computer - and now when I try to use
| AudioCatalyst to copy music from CD to MP3 format, I no longer have the
ASPI
| option available. I checked the MS Knowledge base and discovered that
ASPI
| is not supported as standard on XP - so I went to http://www.adaptec.com
and
| downloaded an ASPI layer and installed it with no problems. However
| AudioCatalyst still refuses to let me use ASPI as a rip method. I have an
| ASPI checker util, and that says that my ASPI layer is installed, and is
| fully operational. Any suggestions, ideas or fixes?
|
| email: andi@theblacktower.freeserve.co.uk if you need it.
