Hi, I'm a fairly new XP user and I can't seem to get
substantial volume from any audio type. Other than the
system volume controls (dbl click speaker in ctrl bar) is
there a way to check if my settings are okay? All faders
in the volume control are up.

jason, check your medias player volume and settings as thats usually the problem.

Does you sound card have a amp built in..? If not you need speakers with a
amp built in.

Do you have any volume control buttons on the front of your speakers
Are they connected correctly and properly (right jack)???
