Audio record

Through the various helpful messages I finally was able to figure out how to
record from microcassette to a PC.
My problem is when replaying the audio, it's voice, not music, there is a
lot of background static. I'm using MusicMatch to record this.
And I'm using a 3/32 convert to 1/8 audio connected to the white, yellow and
red connectors which are then reconnected to the white , yellow and red
connectors which then go to a 1/8 audio into the mic port of my PC. I do not
have a line in port. I have not tried adjusting anything on the computer as
I don't where to begin.
Have been working at this for hours, upon hours, upon hours. Happy I
finally got it to record but need a decent quality to listen to.
