Backing up is so hard to do.

Pro system (all updates applied) for the past eight weeks. I can backup to
my Vista system, and then copy the files to the XP machine. But would prefer
to backup directly. The XP Pro system's hard drive is Shared, the Backup
Folder is Shared, but when I attempt to backup, Vista asks for a Username
and Password. There is none on the XP Machine. How do I get around this?
Happiness is a recent backup! I am not happy.
