Backup for XP Pro

What is considered the best backup software for XP? I want to backup the OS,
installed software, settings and all my data and store it offsite. I just
bought a Pioneer DVR-105 (dvd 4x rewriter) to use. It's my understanding
that roughly one disk will hold 4.25 gb so I should be able to backup
everything on 2 disks.

Has anyone heard of or used BackUp MyPC or DRIVE IMAGE 7? Does anyone have
another recommendation? Thanks for any ideas!

I've used Drive Image Pro 7 to do a complete backup and
restore. I had problems with it, though. On the restore
(actually in the backup) some of the Windows files were
corrupt and after the restore the system would not
start. I had to "repair" Windows using the install CD,
but all seemed ok after that.

I'm playing with the built-in Windows Backup (mainly
Automated System Restore). I haven't actually restored
yet so no verdict. I'm actually going to try and restore
a backup to a different drive configuration and I'm not
sure that will work.

I'm worried that none of the backup software works as advertised. I wonder
if anyone has had success a particular program.

I use Drive Image 7 and have it set to automatically image and verify my
main partitions on a weekly basis, to an external usb2.0 hard drive -
working very well for me.
